To utilize my education, experience and knowledge in
Early Childhood Development
SQEDUNK CHILDREN PRODUCTIONS,
Created, Produced and preformed in the
award-winning children’s educational videos titled “Finger Plays With
Miss Lori”& Get Fit with Sqedunk. Published and wrote the book
Sqedunk takes a tub tub.
Production included sourcing audio/video
companies and coordinating, directing and editing Pre and Postproduction.
Researched all copyright materials on-site at the US Library of Congress.
Developed the marketing strategies and
implemented the plans to promote the videos to various distributors.
Currently, we are listed with Alliance Entertainment, Baker & Taylor,
Ingram Entertainment, Waxworks Tapeworm Distributing, School Specialty Inc.,Quality Books Inc.
Distribution coverage consists of the following
retailers: Blockbuster Video, Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, Amazon.com and
Borders Books. Quality Books Inc. lists with all Libraries in the US and
Canada. School Specialty Inc. is the #1 educational distributor to school
districts across the country.
Marketing consists of the extensive Web site
and Flyers/Brochures, Retail sell sheets and counter displays for the retail
and educational stores, and “Miss Lori Live” shows. Presenter – The
History and Importance of Finger Plays at schools & library conferences.
Promotion/publicity has been achieved through
local & national media, regional trade shows. IE: Appearances on
National Network TV, Miss Lori Live productions, Children’s Museum of
Memphis, The Pink Palace Museum, Playhouse on the Square, Libraries, local
and regional Festivals and Schools.
Current projects are publishing the book
Sqedunk’s Rainy Day Fun, the latest installment in the Sqedunk and Friends
Additional projects is Sqedunk Tye Dye “Comfy
Cloths” children’s apparel, “Sqedunk Takes A Tub Tub” fun bath
accessories, and “Sqedunk” rag doll/beanbag dolls, and a wooden puzzle.
All offered on our web site and at local trade shows, retail establishments
and “Miss Lori Live” shows.
Created & Produced The Miss Lori
Live Show. A traveling 1 ½ Hours show, complete with props, costumes, sound effects and children participation.

Parent Educator Birth to Five years of age (Nationally Certified)
Educated monthly a 30+ family caseload assigned by the Desoto County Health
Department as well as within the local community.
* Coordinated Group/ Family
meetings each month to focus on family issues and ideas.
* Worked with County High Schools to council teen parents bi-weekly on
prenatal development and early childhood development.
* Continually worked on marketing materials to present the “Parents As
Teachers” program to the local business community.

Implemented a Christian based educational program for the church to reach
out to the children in the community.
Requirements included center decorations, painting, wallpapering 7 rooms and
coordinating fundraising to purchase toys and educational supplies.
Implementing a curriculum, daily parent notes, get well cards,
discovery centers, etc.
Developed a budget and payroll system and wrote parent/teacher handbooks and
admission guidelines as well as advertising and directing day-to-day
Current staffing includes 8 teachers for a two day a week program ranging
from infants to 5 year olds. Manage
an annual budget of 35,000 - 40,000.

Interim Preschool Coordinator
My responsibilities were to evaluate / implement and restructure the entire
preschool program. These tasks
included hiring new staff, establishing a complete curriculum along with
manuals for teachers and guidelines for parents.
All in all, I established the framework that is being used today.
